See and hear Carmel Valley’s Jamesburg Earth Station dish reposition itself in the following spliced together videos taken in May 2026. As is seen, the antenna is still operational after first being built by Comsat to support Intelsat’s worldwide communication system and it was in the communication link for NASA’s Apollo 8 to Apollo 17 moon flights from 1968 to 1972. What organization is now controlling the antenna and for what purposes is yet unknown.
